High moisture values
Artificial high moisture values may occur when a wall is salt contaminated or a material is naturally conductive.
In the event of hygroscopic salts, a building diagnosis can establish the presence (or absence) of nitrates and chlorine, especially if rising damp is suspected.
If the material tested is conductive - e.g., clinker -, the equilibrium
relative humidity (ERH) of the material can be measured with a thermo-hygrometer.
Products
This moisture meter and thermo-hygrometer allows to measure humidity, ambient temperature, dew point and thermal bridges as well as the moisture
content of materials (on the surface and in depth).
This moisture meter allows to measure both surface moisture by contacting its two electrodes, and dampness detection by radio frequency, without leaving a trace on the surface.
