Dampness diagnosis, flood damage

Following a flood in a flat, the flat below now appears to be damp. What should I do?

In the absence of visible traces of humidity, quickly diagnose by conducting a radio frequency test, using a moisture meter such as the Humitest MMS, Survey or Aquant. This moisture test enables you to pinpoint the damage area before conducting a thorough diagnostic or an insurance survey.

Products

Humitest MMS

This moisture meter and thermo-hygrometer allows to measure humidity, ambient temperature, dew point and thermal bridges as well as the moisture content of materials (on the surface and in depth).

Humitest Survey

This moisture meter allows to measure both surface moisture by contacting its two electrodes, and dampness detection by radio frequency, without leaving a trace on the surface.

Air quality? Energy efficiency?

Reconciling the two upstream avoids the costs related to amendment works after building or refurbishment: work costs, social costs –health, absenteeism- and environmental impacts.
Exploitation mode and ways of life have a notable share in “global cost”.
